According to scientific studies on ancestry, the mandarin, is considered as one of the ancestors of most other commercial citrus fruits.
In traditional Chinese medicine, mandarin peels (the same part of the fruit used to extract the essential oil by cold pressing) was used to balance qi, which according to Classical Chinese Philosophy, is the vital fluids and the energy that flows through our bodies.

Uses: fragrance lamps, diffusers, saunas, massage oils & creams, bath oils and bath salts, etc.
Diffuser
Use three to four drops in a diffuser of your choice. Diffuse 30-60 minutes before bedtime to promote calm and relaxation.
Topical use
First dilute with an optional vegetable oil to minimize skin sensitivity. Apply a few drops to the desired area and massage the oil onto the skin.
Internal use
Add a drop to your water for a burst of flavor
